Who We Are

We are (SARPSouthern Africa RefugeeProtection, a Non-Governmental Organization responsible for social, legal and health protection  for refugees/asylum seekers, returnees, (IDPs) Internal Displaced Persons  and other (POCs) People of Concerns in Namibia and its’ neighbouring countries. Established in 2017, the organization was founded by members with an extensive traceable record and experience in managing refugee affairs in the region, to fully comprehend the facts and circumstances concerning the specified group.

Collateral efforts will always be necessary to inspire the world’s humanity with all the implications in expressing strong solidarity with those suffering from humanitarian crisis. This role remains the focus of the organization today. The organization is at its inception largely Windhoek-based.


What We Do

  • Strive to restore dignity and empower the peoples of concern.
  • Promote awareness of their basic human right and ensure easier access to justice.
  • Assist with social/legal/health needs
  • Liaise with the government and it’s two statutory committees (the Namibian Refugee Committee & the Namibia Refugee Appeal Board)
